Pupils applying for admission
are as a rule subjected to competitive entrance test. Local
migration from nearby High School will not be permitted. |

A candidate who joins fresh
from home or from a private school has to produce an official
birth certificate (such as a municipal or baptism certificate)
along with the child, in support of the date of birth entered
in the admission form. |

A candidate who has attended
any recognized school cannot be admitted without a leaving certificate
from the last school he has attended. If he comes from a school
outside the state of Maharashtra the leaving certificate must
be countersigned by the Education officer of the State in which
the school is situated. |

|
No boy or girl less that five
years of age (by 1st June) is admitted to the first standard.
A corresponding scale of age is fixed for the succeeding standards. |
